When I was in film school I had a professor once tell me you only need 2 of 3 things to make a movie: money, time, and/or vision. If you have money and time, you can hire creative vision. If you have money and a vision, you can take your time. But if you have a vision and time, money doesn’t matter.
I built this backdrop and headdress out of paper grocery bags, sharpie marker, cardboard, a wood dowel rod and lots of tape. The goal was to make something without spending any money and only using things found around my home. Maybe just to prove that I could. Maybe as a reminder to myself that with a creative vision and a little ingenuity we always have more than we think we do.
